Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective 27 October 2026 · Tanzeel Labs LLC, Delaware, USA

1. Overview

Draftbench is a digital service that generates AI-assisted legal documents on demand. Because the work product is delivered immediately upon generation — and because the AI processing cost is incurred at that point — our refund policy reflects the nature of the service: once a contract has been drafted, reviewed or otherwise processed, that credit is consumed and is not refundable.

2. Free trial

Your first contract is free. No payment card is required. The trial lets you evaluate the full pipeline — draft, review, risk memo, revision, export — before making any purchase decision.

3. Cancelling a subscription

4. Refund eligibility

4.1 All purchases are final

All purchases — subscriptions, single-contract credits and credit packs — are final and non-refundable. By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you have evaluated the Service using the free trial contract and are satisfied with its capabilities.

For subscription plans, the monthly contract allowance is part of the subscription fee. Unused credits from a billing period expire at the end of that period. Cancelling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund of the current or any prior period's fee, whether or not the included credits were used.

4.2 Why purchases are non-refundable

The AI processing cost is incurred at the moment of generation and the digital work product (the drafted contract, review findings, risk memo or revised version) is delivered immediately. You are able to download, copy and use the output from the moment it is generated. Even where credits remain unused, the purchase price reflects access to the Service, not the individual credit alone. The free trial (one complete contract, no card required) exists so you can evaluate quality before purchasing.

4.3 Service failure — the only exception

If a verified technical fault on our side prevented a paid feature from working — for example, the pipeline failed to produce any output due to a server error, or a generated document was corrupted and could not be opened — we will, at our sole discretion:

This is the only circumstance in which a credit may be restored. Dissatisfaction with the quality or content of a successfully generated document is not a service failure — you may revise the document, adjust the brief and re-draft, or engage the optional lawyer review service.

To report a service failure, email support@draftbench.com within 7 days of the incident, stating your account email, the matter title and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

4.4 Duplicate charges

If you are charged twice for the same purchase due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full upon verification.

5. Lawyer review credits

6. Subscriptions — no "use and refund"

Subscription plans provide a set number of contract credits per billing period. Credits used during a billing period are consumed permanently. Cancelling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund of credits already used. The free trial exists specifically so that you can evaluate the service before purchasing.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we notify you by email and retry over the following days. Access to paid features may be paused until payment succeeds. Your matters and documents are retained; nothing is deleted due to a failed payment.

8. Refund method and timing

All approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

9. EU, EEA and UK consumers — right of withdrawal

This section applies only if you use Draftbench as a consumer (a natural person acting outside any trade, business or profession) and you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

10. Model withdrawal form (EU/EEA/UK consumers)

11. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorised or incorrect, please contact us at support@draftbench.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We aim to resolve billing disputes directly and promptly. Filing a chargeback for services that were delivered and used may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
